New Fork City ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our mobile application and services.

1. Information We Collect

• Account Information: We collect your email address and profile information (name, avatar, username) when you sign in via Google or Magic Link through Supabase.
• Location Data: To provide core mapping features, we request access to your device's precise location. This is used to center the map and show you places nearby.
• User Content: We store the places you pin, the lists you create, and the users you follow. This data is public by default if you choose to share your lists.

2. How We Use Information

We use the collected data to:

• Provide and maintain the Service.
• Generate your social Feed ("The Circle").
• Calculate trending places and lists based on aggregate user activity.
• Improve the speed and performance of the Map.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Your public profile, public lists, and public pins are visible to other users of the application. We use Supabase for secure data storage and authentication.

4. Your Choices

You can manage your location permissions through your device settings. You can delete your account or specific data (pins/lists) any time through the Profile section of the app.
