New Fork City ("NFC", "we", "us") collects information to provide a social place-curation experience.

• Account Data: When you sign in via Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture.
• User Content: Places you save (pins), ratings, personal notes, and lists you create.
• Social Graph: Who you follow and who follows you.
• Location Data: With your permission, we use your device's GPS to show you on the map and find nearby places. We do not store your precise location history.
• Device Data: We collect basic device info (OS version, model) to improve app performance.

2. How We Use Information

We use your data to:

• Personalize your map and feed.
• Enable social features like following friends and sharing lists.
• Send push notifications (if enabled) for social interactions.
• Improve and secure our services.

3. Data Visibility & Sharing

• Public Content: Your username, display name, public lists, and pins on public lists are visible to all users.
• Private Content: Lists marked as "Private" are visible only to you.
• Third Parties: We use Mapbox for mapping services and Supabase for cloud infrastructure. We do not sell your data to advertisers.

4. Your Rights & Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time via the "Delete Account" button in your Profile settings. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
